This timer allows you to choose a time delay, an exposure, an interval before you trigger the shutter. You can adjust the trigger time and of course you can choose to set it manually.  The timer can be set anywhere from 1 second to 99 hours, 59 minutes, 59 seconds.

Ok, I bought this because I needed to do timelapses and the canon version was priced ridiculously so I had no choice. It looked a bit sketch online, but when I got it I noticed it looks EXACTLY the same as the canon version and operates exactly the same. It's easy to use and doesn't suck up too much power, except when you turn on the backlight, which is understandable. I've used it a ton. I've probably taken at least 100,00 photos on this thing and it's still truckin' like a mofo. Props to the people making these as an alternative to the overpriced canon remote.

I think it is a good value. So far, I have only used the seconds and minutes to control the shutter speed and the camera always receives the time 1 number unit less than the control setting, e.g. set the control for 30 seconds and the camera will fire in 29 seconds or set for 30 minutes and the camera will fire in 29 minutes.
