This professional grade battery grip by Pixel is designed for Canon 5DIII DSLR cameras and replaces the CANON BG-E11. The functions are the same as of the original Canon BG-E6. Buttons include full press/ half press shutter release, AF button, exposure lock, dial wheel and battery grip on/off button.

It can hold six size AA / LR6 alkaline batteries or 1-2 LP-E6 Li-ion batteries, doubling the battery capacity of your camera. The shutter release button on the battery grip makes shooting with the camera in a vertical position much easier, adding stability to the camera. E11 grip uses the same raw material as the camera body, it has the same feature of waterproof and dust proof as the camera through sealing application.

Purchased this for my 5DMK3 and it works beautifully. The battery input is slightly different from previous versions and makes a bit more difficult to replace batteries quickly but the build quality and feel make up for that. If you didn't tell anyone it wasn't a canon accessory I don't think they would know. Definitely worth the purchase.
