This light weight rubber lens hood prevents unwanted stray light from entering into the lens by extending the shading the end of the lens. It helps eliminate unwanted lens flare which might degrade overall image quality, wash out colours and cause loss of contrast.

There are 3 different lengths the lens hood may extend from the collapsed position where the hood is parallel to the lens thread. Thanks to the high quality rubber it allows you to easily adjust the hood extension by pushing or pulling the hood.

Note: Please verify your camera's lens thread size before ordering. Your camera's lens thread size will be marked somewhere on the lens barrel or printed underneath your lens cap. This number is always preceded by a "Ø" (diameter) symbol. For example: Ø62 = 62mm lens thread size.

I have not play around with it to much but I do like how you can easily adjust the depth. Time will tell how it will hold up.
