Main Function:- The microphone can be fixed on the DV or DSLR with microphone hold and path. The MIC-1 enables a natural sound pick-up.
- It delivers a stereo sound image with superb clarity.
- The pick-up pattern (affecting the sound stage width) can be set to 90° or 120°, according to the sound source.
Important Notes:- The microphone is sensitive, so please exercise caution when using it, dropping or shaking the item can cause damage.
- Keep it away from high temperature and humidity, especially more than 60°C.
- Please keep in mind the using the item near and amplifier can cause disruption. To avoid this please keep the microphone away from amplifiers or turn the volume down.
- If you change settings or modes while shooting it may cause disruption to your recording. To help avoid this please make any changes while shooting is stopped or paused.
- Please keep the microphone away from water. If your wind screen does become wet, store it in a cool, dry place until it has dried. Leaving it in the sun or drying using heat will prematurely age the product.

Before using Please be sure to remove the battery from the microphone when not in use.
To Change battery
- Push the battery cover backward and lift it off.
- Push the battery forward, to lift it out.
- Put the new battery into the slot.
- Put the cover back on the right position.
Time for a battery changeAs the power is full, the indicating light will flash when you turn ON it.
If the battery indicator light is continuously lit, your battery life is low. If this occurs please change/replace your batteries. If you are on location you have approximately 1 to 2 hours of battery life left.
The microphone has a battery life of approximately 800hours. (The actual hour depends on the varied case.)
- The battery is not rechargeable.
- Please remove the battery when the microphone is not in use.
- If the battery leaks, please be sure to clean out the battery holder before replacing it with new batteries.
ConnectionConnect to your camera using the hot shoe adapter. Be sure to tighten the microphone in place by turning the dial right above the hotshoe on the microphone. Make sure the DV or DSLR is off while attaching your microphone, then attach the microphone using the attached cord into your camera.
