This protector is easily installed onto the lens of many compact cameras. It serves to protect the lens and keep dirt and dust from the often delicate self-closing lens shutter mechanism. The filter is made from 0.5mm optical glass with multiple film coatings to ensure maximum light transmission and UV filtration. With a decorative silver metal rim, once fitted, the filter is designed to look like part of the camera.

It is very hard to find a Lens Protector in the USA for a small point and shoot camera that does not accept screw-on filters, etc.  This GGS DC UV Protective Filter is just what I wanted (and needed) for my new Lumix DMC-ZS50. the customer service at Cowboy Studio is top notch and handled my concerns professionally.  I would buy from them again.
