The FT223C serves as a replacement screw for various release plates and camera mounts.  The thumbscrew designs makes it easy to securely tighten and loosen the screw.  The screws includes a 1/4-20 threaded hole in the base so it can be mounted on other 1/4-20 studs. The FT223C is NOT a replacement for all release plate screws. Please see sizing in specifications to determine if this item will fit your needs.
Specification
    • Metal threads with plastic thumbscrew
    • 1/4-20 threads (threaded area is 3/16" long)
    • Shaft is 7/16" long (1/4" is unthreaded)
    • Thumbscrew is 1" in diameter
    • Thumbscrew (including shoulder around shaft) is 1/4" deep
