This well priced viewfinder magnifies your DSLR screen as well as blocking out ambient light. Simply attach the thin adhesive metal rim to your LCD screen. The viewfinder mounts onto that rim magnetically.

    Directions
    1. Start with camera recording approximately 12 minutes before applying.
    2. While you apply the interface frame set your camera to the brightest display setting.
    3. Without removing the paper backing, please practice placing the frame over your cameras screen.
    4. We recommend that the round filleted tab should be in the upper right corner when applied.
    5. Remove the paper backing and carefully attach the frame to the camera body. Be sure to that the frame is evenly placed around the LCD screen
    6. Apply pressure (gently massage with your fingertips) to ensure a better bond between the frame and your camera.
    7. Leave a weight on the freshly applied frame and leave your camera running for at least 15 minutes so the heat generated will ensure a better fit.
    8. Initial bond strength of approximately 76% is achieved after 15 minutes

This viewfinder is great for viewing my Nikon 300s LCD outside on sunny days. I don't use it attached but may consider it later on. Great product for a low price vs other products.

I just received my viewfinder and I was more than pleased with it. It was easy to install, just follow the instructions. The viewfinder uses magnets to attach to the frame which makes it easy to take on and off depending on the shots you're trying to get. It also comes with a lanyard so you can wear it around your neck. It works great and more importantly allows me to shoot with my T2i outside during the day. It's as basic a viewfinder as you can get but for the price you can't complain. I would highly recomend this for anyone beginning on the path of DSLR film making. It's perfect for beginners, or anyone on a budget!!
