I am reviewing this as a "new" item. It is made of aluminum and plastic. It's not made of the most durable of materials but I expect these can take a slight beating in transport between shoots.

Since I haven't yet tested its durability, I deducted 1 star. If you're good with plastic and aluminum, then consider this a 5-star review.

This product works fine for me. It doesn't come with instructions but its pretty basic and guess what? the instructions are on youtube cowboystudio has a channel with a video explaining just how to put it together. It is basically idiot proof unless you don't even bother researching it at all.
