The Cowboy Studio Lighting kit is a great addition to any studio. Entire kit sets up in minutes, and very easy to operate.

These high-output daylight balanced compact fluorescent bulbs are ideally suited for digital photography. They also have very low heat so they don't get hot like the more common photo bulb choices.

One of the main questions are customers ask us is “what is the difference between continuous and strobe lighting?” Continuous lighting uses a constant light source to light your subject, meaning that your lights will stay on during the entirety of your photo shoot. Continuous lighting is recommended for beginners. Strobe lighting uses a flash of light at the moment your camera shutter opens to illuminate your subject. Many professionals use this type of lighting because it offers more control of the light.

I bought this set of lights a while back and I love them.  I also purchased a pair of shoot through umbrellas and now I have total control of my product shots.  The light set is so affordable, easily managed and consistent.  I shoot in my studio so I don't worry about traveling with them.  Before I got these lights, I relied on my skylight and some basic clip on lights.  Basically that meant I could shoot from 10 until about 3 or 4.  As the seasons changed so did my available light.  Now I shoot whenever I want or need to and my light is consistent.  I bought some for my mom and her blogging addiction.  Now I'm shopping for a new set for video lighting.
