This CowboyStudio Photo Softbox is a necessary item in any professional portrait studio and would be a great addition to your studio. Softboxes are enclosures around a bulb and create even and diffused light by bouncing light off of a second surface to diffuse the light. The Softbox diffuses a strobe flash, giving you perfect even lighting.

Our Softboxes are made with high quality construction. The speedring fits most strobe heads up to 4 inches in diameter while the two diffuser panels allow you to easily adjust the softness of the light. The speedring ensures this Softbox fits right in at any studio. An advantage of an octagonal box is that the catch light in your subject's eyes will be round instead of square.

I am very pleased to find the materials used in this enormous octobox are very sturdy and are far more worth the price. Really a 6 1/2' octo for $88 is insane to be able to fully engulf my subjects in beautiful soft light is a dream. I have punched 2 already and am picking up 1 more for my 3 light setup.. If you're not familiar with large octos trust me it is a chore putting on and may seem like it's not right but you'll see that it falls together very well when you're done I'd say it'll take a good 10-20 mins getting it together so give yourself some time but it's well worth the price and assembly time.

This octabox is massive and the price can't be beat.  The setup was very straight forward and it assembled very quickly.  I was expecting an issue with it falling apart as I assembled, but that wasn't the case.  One I got opposite side poles in the rest went in and it unfolded to all of its massive beauty.  Used a 320WS strobe with it and it lights up a whole room.  Highly recommend this.  I'm loving my pictures with it.

This light is incredible! I set it up in my home studio and could not believe it. The amount of light that comes from this thing is unbelievable. I get so excited using this light I think I am going to have to buy a couple more. This has definitely come in handy for photo shoots and I would highly recommend this softbox to other photographers!
