This CowboyStudio Photo Softbox is a necessary item in any professional portrait studio and would be a great addition to your studio. Softboxes are enclosures around a bulb and create even and diffused light by bouncing light off of a second surface to diffuse the light. The Softbox diffuses a strobe flash, giving you perfect even lighting.

Our Softboxes are made with high quality construction. The speedring fits most strobe heads up to 4 inches in diameter while the two diffuser panels allow you to easily adjust the softness of the light. An advantage of an octagonal box is that the catch light in your subject's eyes will be round instead of square.

The egg crate front on this softbox makes it easy for you to change the direction of your lighting, directing it away from where you don't want it.

Sturdy and looks great. The grid is detachable and and allows for more control of the light. Unfortunately the Bowens connector is slightly smaller than it should be. Fits a standard bowens style connector with no problem but if you don't have a bowens specific strobe it will not fit properly(obviously). I had bought another product made for bowens and fits fine on the non-bowens flash, thats why i make this remark.

This softbox is perfect for any studio! I was really excited to start using this and have not been disappointed. I love the way the light is diffused through the grid and have been nothing short of impressed. This is a great product and I would highly recommend it!
