This kit provides 1000 watts of continuous lighting and is a very good starting point for beginners. The entire kit sets up in minutes, is easy to operate, and is professional.

The W803 light stand is perfect for the studio photographer. Made from strong aluminum alloy, it can be used with reflectors, boom stands, strobe flash lights, and backgrounds. The 801 lightstand is compact in size and easy to use in both studio and table top photography.

Compact fluorescent light bulbs use up to 75% less energy and last up to 10 times longer than standard light bulbs. The total cost of ownership of a compact fluorescent lightbulb is typically substantially less than a standard light bulb that produces the same amount of light. Primary applications for compact fluorescent light bulbs include retail, hospitals, warehouses, workshops, churches, arena, schools, television, photography, and garages. 5000k daylight compact fluorescent standard spiral bulbs are an excellent choice for digital camera photography. They generate a close match to natural daylight and a crisper view of the items being illuminated.

This translucent umbrella is a great addition to your studio setup. This umbrella works well to diffuse the light from any flash, creating a soft even light for your subject. The lack of a black backing gives this umbrella the ability to flash through the umbrella if needed and simulate the effects of a softbox. Portability is a plus for location shots. This size is good for head shots and small to medium sized products.

The swivel adapter lets you have full control over your flash or slave positioning. Mount your slave to the swivel adapter and then set it on any of your standard mount light stands. The adapter swivels in all directions, making it simple to get the light where you need it, even with difficult angles.
